Physiotherapy

Physical problems arising from pain, illness, accident or injury can disrupt one's independence in daily living. We actively involve you and your goals as we strive to assist you and your family to restore and enhance your independence and overall well-being.

As primary health care professionals, our physiotherapists develop programs to promote healing and to help you achieve appropriate goals to maintain, restore or increase strength, endurance, coordination, balance and range of motion.

Our physiotherapy services are flexible to address your individual needs.

  • We assess needs, and develop and teach specialized exercise programs. This may include assisting with movement dysfunction, working with respiratory needs, energy conservation, and pain control.
  • we assess needs, develope and teach customized exercise programs.
  • We prescribe equipment such as bathroom aids, and mobility devices such as crutches, canes and walkers.
  • We ensure that you know how to use your prescribed equipment before you are discharged from this service.
  • We consult with other members of your health care team to ensure the best outcome.

Our Physiotherapy Services are resource effective and of high quality.
